LESSON PLAN 09/24/2014

Good Morning AJ,

Today is a new day.  This is your last homeschool day here until you get back from your trip.  It’s Git-R-Done day.  No goofing off.  Concentrate and get everything done so you’re not having to work all day long on your schoolwork.

Spirituality:

Read pages 32 and 33 in The Power of a Praying Kid.

Language Arts:

Do pages 14 and do page 15 on  “Pirates” in  Reading Comprehension, Grade 7-8

Read page 88 and do page 89 about pronouns in Teach Terrific Grammar.”

 Do your work for Sophie.

 Decision Making:

1. What should be the goal of going to school?
2. Take a piece of paper and draw a line right down the middle. 
3. At the top of the left side, write all the reasons to choose homeschool. 
4. On the right side write all the reasons to choose public school.  Give at least 5 reasons for each, more if you can.  Be honest and really think about it.

Journaling:

If everyone abandoned your city for 24 hours, how would you spend the day?  The entire city is your playground for those 24 hours.  

Math:

Complete another fraction worksheet.
